Would have looked better and made more sense to put a lincoln flatty V-12 in that.

Likely would have doubled the weight.Maybe tripled. Cast iron is heavy.

If you are talking about the wood that was carved out to make the pattern for the sand casting, then yes you will find it growing on trees. remember that the bark on the tree is what grows, on the outside of the tree.

Siamesed exhaust ports on the center cylinders.



Flathead V8 only has three exhaust ports. Couple of flatheads on nitro.
