New Vespa GTS 300 Super
I sold both my 2007 Vespas. One was a GTS and the other a GTV. I picked this up 2 days ago.
I sure hate breaking in a new engine, but I'm doing it right. It now has a few more miles, a Corbin seat, engine guards, and a side stand. I'll get some other pictures of the extras in a while. I posted these on the Modern Vespa forum, but I thought I'd share. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice ride! In 2009 I took mine across the US on a 6,000 mile trip and it never missed a beat. A seamless machine. Enjoy it!

Very classy looking ride! Congratulations!
Looking forward to hearing how you like its performance after the PITA break-in. I feel your pain, I'm just about done with break-in on my new SW. If you don't mind - what was your out the door price?

that's a real scooter. While my Tmax is technically a scooter, it's more of a step through CVT motorcycle. You really get the whole scooter feeling riding those. I like them

Thanks for the kind words. I'm really enjoying it so far. The suspension is a little tighter and the whole scooter just feels snappier.
Here are a few pics with the added goodies. ![]() ![]()

Looks great!
I admired the photos that you posted on MV. I was going to ask you there, but I'll ask you now here- what was your reason for getting rid of the other Vespas? Just tired of them? Wanting a color change and size upgrade? Only asking because I have always heard there wasn't that much difference between a GTS 250 and 300, so I always wonder what prompts the change. The accessories look great by the way!

I had 2 of the 250s. I really needed the garage space, so I just wanted to get down to one. posted both of them for sale and was going to keep which ever one did not sell. I would have been happy with either one. They both got a lot of interest, and I was talking with quite a few folks that wanted to see them from CL. It just so happened that they both sold within less than 24 hrs. of each other. At this point, I thought that since they were both going to sell, I would pick up a new 300. That's what happened. I would have been very happy keeping either one, but having a new toy is nice also. (I haven't bought anything new in a long time) I am still in the break-in period, so I can't really tell much of a difference. The 300 just feels a bit tighter and newer. |

Why is it a PITA? get the oil warm, then ride it like you stole it; there`s no way you can over rev it, and it will love you for it.
