Red alarm light flashing after riding away on R1200GS
Yesterday I noticed the alarm light was still flashing after I started my ride. I had gone about 500 m when it first caught my eye and the flashing then continued for about another five flashes and one kilometer. Has anyone else had this happen and what does it mean? I have had my bike for a couple of weeks and ridden it about five times and have not noticed this before. I have had the alarm light stop flashing after two or three days whilst the bike is stored in my garage and maybe there is a problem with the alarm. Any ideas or comments.
Thank you, RET |

My "red triangle" lit three times on three different rides. The manual says to check the oil level, and if that's good...it's off to the dealer.
The dealer says they were fault codes. The bike "faulted" on a misaligned brake lever. They readjusted the lever, cleared the computer, and I was off. SS357 |

"Pardon me sir, do your brakes work?" "Whozat! Breaks! I ain't takin' no break." "No sir, your motorcycle brakes." "You're gonna break my motocycle! I'll kick your..." You see where this is going... I'll look at my manual when I get to work (where it is located). SS357 |
