It would be fun to meet you all. I actually live in screven county, so much of the coastal empire is out of my range for an evening get together. But take lots of pics to post.

The link above should take you to Jub Jub's thread for the upcoming ride, meet, greet, eat.
It's a leisurely 2 1/2 hour or so ride from Savannah along some nice countryside, unless the superslab (I-16) is used, then's it's quicker but less scenic.
Who's up for August 10th?
I'm gonna try my best!

I was there just there yesterday and passed by numerous tags. My peeps are looking at relocating to the area so we can rustle up some fresh sea food.

I love the coast. Time to relocate!

I'll throw in my name as someone who might be interested for a S-GA RTE. I'm about 20 min from the GA-line so perhaps in the break between getting back to the US later this week to leaving for grad school mid-August I might jump in if I'm free.

Sad news for me, yesterday I dumped my KLX in the woods and fractured my left wrist ( good news is the bike is ok lol) so for the next few weeks I'll be doing my travels via the P/U in the driveway. If in maybe 3 weeks or so the fingers can handle the clutch on the tiger I may be up for some local stuff. Will know more next week after the follow visit with the Dr.

I do want to give a big " thank you " to slider17, he was there with me when it happened. Once I was ferried out of the woods on a 4 wheeler he got me to Doctor's hospital in Augusta where I was well taken care of, Then got me and the bike back home. Thanks buddy.

That's a great idea. . Seriously, glad you weren't hurt too badly and that you had a great riding partner.

Trvlr45 had worked his way almost to the bottom of a REALLY knarly downhill section when some wet snotty slick clay put his front wheel in a washout. One of those instant "oh sh*t" moments we've all had at one time or another! Trvlr, here's hoping ya heal up quick and be back on two wheels soon....we've got a ride to finish!!
