How far would you travel for White Castles?

This is my first ride report and my first road trip so bear with me. I've only had my motorcycle lisence for 2 months. So with that out of the way, here we go!
Living in KnoxVegas where we are not blessed with the gift of White Castle, we decided a road trip to Lebanon,TN was in order. Since I was riding a KLR, it was decided to take Hwy 70 all the way. Wonderful road, highly reccomend.

Start of the morning, it was a crisp 54 degrees.

Fellow dorks!

Breakfast stop in Rockwood

Obligatory self shot

My view most of the day. This happens when you ride with sportbikes.

One of those damn sportbike guys

Fuel stop in Sparta. Sportbikes burn the gas.

Damn sportbike guys!

Still my view most of the day.

Suprise, I caught one.

You can't really tell from this pic, but about a 15 mile stretch before Lebanon, yard sales lined both sides of the road. Took us about an hour to go those 15 miles!

Paydirt!

All done, deciding which way to go home. Yard sale hell was not an option. We decided to loop around the other end of 70 thru Cookeville.

Hole in the wall gas station that only take cash! Luckily they do have an ATM!

Since we were going thru Cookeville, I suggested we cut across 111 and drop by my dads house. Suprise!

Suprise, was on us! He was't home! So back down 111 to 70 we went!

Rest stop somewhere around Midtown.

Back on the road. Beautiful view by the lake in Midtown!

Gnats were extremely bad!

Back home. Around 355 miles round trip. May seem nutty for a hamburger, but White Castles are not a hamburger, they are an experience!

So there you go, my first ride report. Hope you approve!

True dat.

Nice ride report! Thanks for doing your part to take out some gnats.

Down here in the southern part of the country, we've got Krystal burgers -- same idea. The grease soaking into the bun...the little onion bits...Mmmmmm.

Great ride report

Being from the NY Metro area...and "blessed" with a White Castle about every 2 square miles...

I cant wait to meander down your neck of the woods for some Tennessee Bar-B-Que

Calhouns is ok, there are better places. Buddy's BBQ is pretty good for a local chain. There are alot of hole in the wall places that are so much better.
