Hi, we are Anthony and Samantha. This past weekend we loaded up the Daytona and headed out to Big Bear for a night of camping. Enjoy!

Ready to embark.

Rim of the World

One of these is not like the rest...

This bike is certainly not cut out for dirt roads; we're officially adventurers.

Arrival at our campsite.

A beautiful nature walk.

A stowaway.

Night time.

Bored at Denny's.

The ride home.

Our next planned adventure will be a 4 day round trip to MotoGP Laguna Seca, Thanks for looking!

Wow, beautiful pics!

Which camera did you use for the "hike" pictures, I guess the pictures on the bike were taken with a GoPro?

You got some great pics there. Nice report. It's always nice to see some someone touring on a "non touring bike" and doing some adventure riding on a "non adventure bike"

Thanks! We were shooting with a Nikon D90 equipped with an 18-105mm lens; the riding pictures were taken with a GoPro.

Thanks! Yeah, while it's still fun to do trips, we're both looking forward to the day when we have a more suitable bike. The 675 is a fantastic motorcycle, but comfort is hardly its priority.

Great pics! Love the night shots with the stars. I was up there last August for camping, but never got to finish. I lost it on my Royal Star Venture towing a trailer on a hail covered Rim of the World. Within 10 miles of the campground too. Ruined my camping weekend, but I have a V-Strom now and like the adventure riding better. And minus the trailer! Seeing your photos makes me want to go experience what I missed out on last year. Thanks for sharing.

Ya, like everyone else said-fine pix! You made BB look pretty good.

On your trip up north, maybe look into riding the Nacimiento Fergusson Road. You won't regret it.

What is your experience like in long distance/semi-long distance riding with luggage on a bike like that?
And if you have experienced it before, can you compare it with a more touring oriented bike?
