950: noise from gearbox

Hi, people! :)
There is a suspisious noise from gearbox, when it works on neutral gear. It seems like ringing sound of rotating gears (really? ) ...but it's too loud. But if I switch any gear, this sound vanish. Is this normally for LC8 or mainshaft/countershaft/gears inspection/replacing awaiting me soon?

gearbox noise

Does the noise just go when you put it in gear or just when you pull the clutch in.

Just when I put it in gear, pulling the clutch doesn't change the situation
I dont't know, maybe it's normally, but in comparision with my previous Honda's it's too loud. It's my first KTM :)

See, that's the problem.. You are comparing it to a Honda.. You should compare it to a steel cooking pot beeing shaked, with bearing balls in it:))

I suggest you have a look at your clutch inner parts.

Could be worth it but anyway is not too much of a hassle. You will not loose but some drops of oil.
Cheers.
