Yeah, god forbid that you actually have to ride somewhere more than 10 minutes from you. Oh wait, you were going to do an extensive search for a Sprinter van so you could fly to Manitoba and drive it back just to shoe horn as many bikes as possible into the back and then drive up the block to "ride" them.

I heard he found one in Norway. And he's going to drive it home.

Grover..sitrep

I stayed in the campground last night... nice facility. The pool is down for maintenance at the moment.. but Ranger Rick said it will be done by the end of the month.

Fees:$25/night per site. $23 for old FFs. Sites can be shared but there's the typical extra fee per vehicle. Coin-op showers, flush toilets, big campsites with bear closets and tables. There were very few campers in the park. Me and maybe 5 others. They had one loop closed.

Markleeville is 4 miles: Bar..several restaurants, gas, general store. Not much color yet.

The camp is at about 5500 feet. Temp was in the high 40's last night. Very little traffic on the roads.

typical camp site:

Thanks for the update! I was looking at the avg. temps for the dates scheduled and
nightime temps are going to be in the upper 20's.

Yeah....cold maybe...but this time we compromise for the ladies with flush toilets and showers.

Next year....

Walt...thanks for the heads up. Looks like a good time. Hopefull we get some color this year. Though...for what it costs for a site...jeebus fuck....what a rip-off.

took the gs for a spin and the attempt at fixing the front break pulsing is still there
I guess my new rotors are warped already
I doubt I will have it fixed in time for this but might just ride it anyway who needs breaks
