ok, so heres how it mounts.....

first, ya slide the front tab into the frame backbone

this

goes into here

then once you slide it all the way forward, you put the little catch pin in the hole in the subframe

this

goes into here

i did have to enlarge the hole in the subframe in the above pic by a little bit, but it won't hurt anything and it allowed for a stronger catch pin to be made.

when removing the seat, its a simple push forward, and then pull up. it pops right off.

im very pleased with the arrangement. and thanks for the kind words fellas

Id have to do 10 pans to make it cost prohibitive. And even then a pan would be 150 bucks each. I don't want to get involved in the finished seat product (upholstery and foam etc.)

Exactly. Love of labor is EXPENSIVE.

Show 'em how-to, then let 'em go fish.

This.... (wish I had the time)

I've got the same framed Mono: make another (pan only no metal work, foam or leather needed) and you've got my order.

I no longer have an airhead, or that airhead. Seems that they don't like me much. I will be making a pan for an r65 I sold to a friend of mine.
