;)

Mmmm. 950se...

While my love affair with the LC8 is well known by most here, a well sorted single with decent fuel range would be a welcome addition to the market.

I think the Terra is getting closer to meeting the market gap in an all purpose adv bike. But I imagine not much will crack a shit eating grin like my SE.. Kinda ruins you for all other bikes.....

If it is any sort of a refinement on the TE630 it will be ok in my book

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"

My Xcountry with the same engine is supposed to run on 95, but when there isn't any it gets 98 and runs fine, and when there is none of that either, it gets 91. If I'm being really picky, I'd say its not quite so smooth on 91, but often I think that's due to the fuel quality not the octane.

Having said all that the fuel injection system is different, so I think my reply has turned out to be pointless.

Funny you should say that, as its exactly what the hubby has been saying for months and I've been studiously ignoring him! . Tonight we measured the angle on both the Xchallenge at 61 degrees, and the Xcountry at 61 degrees. I was as certain as a grumpy wife could be, that they would be different. So yes, I'm now going to stick a 21"front wheel on it and maybe get the front forks done as they are very basic. Then I'd better learn to ride

However I will be watching the Terra with great interest all the same.
