Way better than the stock TW guide. Wears out easy, time consuming to replace. Looks good.

This is a pretty cool conversion/mod it makes me think a DR350 would be cool with big wheels

I think an XR600 guy did it with BW wheels one time. It was a 600 Honda, at least. I'd love to see any 350/400 with this. A TW350 with a granny gear would be just perfect.

I don't think this is the one (not quite a 600), but it's a pretty similar build process to what I remember:

weighed the dakar today to see how much heavier with the tw rear and 18 front and was suprised to see it is the same as before. it weighed in at 373 lbs with about a half gallon of fuel. i thought it might weigh more because of the heavier rims and bigger tires but i think with the rear drum setup it saved a lot of weight since no heavy caliper stuff or brake disc and master cylinder stuff.

Question Explorer video?

I would like to see video of your bike in action on the street, on the trails, everywhere.

My primary rides are a DR650 and a TW200 so of course I have pondered combining the best of both.
I had not seen this build before so thanks for posting it up!
Hmmmm. Maybe my Wee Strom with fat tires and spoked wheels...
