Not intentionally! My bad, man.

There was a good 10-12 feet in between two cars that I pulled into. I planted myself right in the middle so another car couldn't try to squeeze in on either side. With that much space I figured what could go wrong....

Twitter

D, Glad your having fun in my old stomping grounds. I enjoyed looking at your tweets this morning and looking up Mr. Domenicali. http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-...tml#historysub

I glad you are seeing the fruits to your labor of love. Amazing what happens when you pursue with passion.

Looks like a good start to your time in Austin. I just "followed" you on Twitter as well, you have some good stuff there! Have fun with the rest of your time in Texas!

Haven't checked in much since the ride ended so am a little late to express my sadness and regret that the Duc was smacked around by some drunken/idiot cager. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm sure it will be sad to see any part of her replaced after all you've been through together. You'll have her fixed and put this behind you, after all you're AH! Have fun at the event!

Hey Dennis, you are living the dream.
Hanging with the big boys, Nicky Hayden, Ben Spies, et all.
Looks like you are part of the Ducati familia now.
Maybe you could be their endurance/distance test rider.
Nice to see peeps get rewarded every now and then, considering your journey.

Cheers,
Dave

If you need a free beer in Austin, let me know! I just moved to the area on the new year.

Took a little while for the sign up process from the admins, but i decided to make my first post after reading 100+ pages of your report. I must say that I am impressed seeing someone take a duc cross country and back. I had ideas of taking long distance trips with my 848 but have always been reluctant but you've definitely put all my doubts away. I must admit that I didn't post up here just cause i rode a duc, but it is also cause im an S owner myself :)

If you happen to head up towards Vancouver BC, let me know, I'd be happy to show you around town and take you to many multicultural foods in Vancouver

Ugh, so sorry to hear about the hit and run. I watch this cop show "First 48" and they often catch criminals by checking nearby security cameras for a similar vehicle driving off around that time.
Might be worth a shot. If you find them, pretty sure a couple hundred ADV members will help you give them a talking to.
