AntiHero, really enjoy reading your RR and the pictures
![]() I ride a Ducati Monster (it's my commuter) and reading you RR makes me want to do a motorcycle trip around the island of Java (where I live) on my Monster. |

*EDIT*
Ha! Nevermind, that's what I get for being impatient. I've now read on and discovered: Photoshop, lol OK I've skipped ahead, I'm still about 22 pages behind the last post in this thread. Apologies if it has already been asked about and answered. But I'm curious as all heck. I've stared at this picture until I'm crosseyed, but still cannot see the licence plate or turnsignals, or hardware that holds the aforementioned bits to the bike. They are there in one picture but gone the next, and reappear again later.

Great ride report.
If you find that you need a break from the French Quarter, hop north across Lake Ponchartrain to Abita Springs and have a meal at the Abita Brewpub. Abita Springs is a nice, laid back little southern town. If the weather's not too chilly you can dine outside under the oak trees and enjoy a flight of their micro brews while you eat. The ~30 mile ride across Lake Ponchartrain is fairly impressive as well.

Anti,
Incredible thread. Just wanted you to know that your (and other inmates) story inspired me to say "Fuck it". I just bought a KTM 690 in San Francisco and am riding it back to Atlanta, Georgia. I flew in yesterday and am about to hit Highway 1 South once the sun comes up!

CA to GA on a KTM690?
The sound of this makes my ass hurt. I have spend countless days in the saddle of an R1 with no problems however the sound of doing so on the KTM sounds rough! Take alot of bayer with you bud and Godspeed be with you!

I love NOLA, great city (if you go to the right places) I too was there a few days ago myself, one of the ONLY good things about living in Mobile Alabama!

Nola
I live just north of NOLA in Covington. Hit me up if you want to grab a drink or head down to NOLA Motorsports Park. They have an awesome kart track and it is a really nice facility!
