Quick-adjust handlebar options

Been looking at the Wunderlich Quick-adjust and found these units on Amazon for less than half the price. Anyone try them? Also want to confirm the specs.

I purchased the Wunderlich ones for my 1150 with bar risers, didn't get to fit them before I bought an F800GS. I cut them down to fit and have recently installed them. They work exceedingly well.

I did some research before thinking about cutting them down and found these:

I believe they are what Wunderlich sell with the extra thick washer to cope with the recess in the handlebar clamp. They were considerably cheaper than Wunderlich. You may have a distributor in your area and all you will need to obtain is a thickening washer to make them work.

The ones on Amazon say made of die cast zinc. That is pot metal!! I wouldn't want pot metal to be the only thing between me and a hospital bed! Did you notice the shipping note? 1-2 months... I also don't see what rotating the bar will give you unless your low position has the bars rolled back further than normal. The bars have so little pull back. I would loosen the back bolts and try it before investing in the snake oil. You would be better off with risers to get higher. GH
