It's that time again...time to start planning.

Please post location suggestions and date suggestions

There may be contests and prizes

Hell, we may even have some FF from the upstate join us....

It has always been a good time and we usually have a decent size group. Lets keep with that tradition

Have you ever been to kings mountain? I've been looking to go there but I really enjoyed Dreher Island and would love to go back. I don't really care where we go I'd just like to see a good group like we had in Hunting Island or better. Even better if we could rustle some of the folks from the upstate.

I've even been considering going to NC and invading one of their larger groups. I'd only be able to go to one probably.

Kings Mtn State park? I've been there. Backpacked the long loop a few times and have some good memories of getting caught in a horrendous thunder storm. Never camped at the actual camp ground.

Hopefully I can join the group this time, but timing will be everything. Mid October is a strong possibility though.

any place is fine with us, we just have to have a solution for the dogs.

hunting island sounds great, good times there....

upstate guys, have they ever came out?? what bout yalls last outing? that was up there...

far as our condo, i'll try to convince misty to go with a slghtly smaller tent :-)

I'm up for a camping trip this fall, timing dependent.

The weekend after Labor Day is out for me as I already have an event that weekend. CrazyMike does, too. It may take Joel (Jo Jo) out for that weekend, too, but I haven't told him he's going, yet.

(It's a HammockForums hang at Santee State Park, so if any of you are interested in hammock camping, this is a great opportnity to check out people's gear.)

I'm also occupied the first weekend in October for my brother's wedding.

(That's also the weekend of the ADV fall Notarally in Hot Springs, NC, BTW/FYI.)

Let's nail down a weekend and location and make this happen.

I'd like to go depending upon when it is. September is a good riding time all over the state, usually.

Sounds like last two weekends in September are good options 21-23 or 28-30 or the second weekend in October 12-14.

Out of these three I like sept 21-23 or october 12-14. I'm thinking October would be cooler so I'm leaning that way.

We had a great time at Dreher island last time and it was suggested again. It is the most centrally located too. I nominate it or second the nomination.

Y'all keep posting suggestions and opinions and see where it gets us.

Joanie and I are definitely up for a camping trip, unfortunately, October 12th weekend is the Charlotte race and we already committed to being there. If you bump it forward to the 19th we are in! There are lots of OHV riding areas within 15 minutes of Dreher.

i looked the other day, and those 4 spots down the hill where we had two of them are all open that weekend as of now......
