I'm looking for an '09-'11 KTM 450 XCW or EXC, low hours. I have cash burning a hole in my pocket .

picoscope?

I'm looking to buy a new 4channel picoscope but I think I want to play with one before I spend $2500. If anyone has one for sale, rent or loan let me know.

I'm looking for a ski vise - nothing fancy - just need to hold my skis while I edge and wax. I was thinking of just making a wooden contraption that just holds the binding with a support out near the tip. But I figgered I'd check in here first.

Maybe an old boot that fits your bindings, a hack saw, some screws....

I should add, a woodworkers clamp and some C-clamps are extremely versatile. You can even screw one jaw of a wood workers clamp to the bench. they work at all sorts of angles. You want this (but from Home Despot, they have the good Jorgenson ones):

I was gonna do exactly that with an old boot!

Thanks for the heads up on the clamps. I'll give 'em a look.

Looking for a dependable Subaru as a second car. Have cash. $3000 ish. I see a lot on CL but they are all the head gasket years. So if you have one that fits the bill and has had the second generation head gasket installed as a replacement please PM. Thanks.

I've been using a couple of 4x4 blocks covered with that bubbly (dotted?) material sold for lining cupboards or tool drawers for years. It creates enough friction to hold skis in place, and works better with capped skis than a lot of vices. Cheap and simple...
