Added Clearwater fork lower lights

I wanted more "see me" visibility so I added a pair of Clearwater "Glenda" lower fork lights. Fitment is a more streamline than the motolights I have had on previous bikes. They tuck in closer to the fork vs the motolights that stuck out on each side of the fork. The Clearwaters use very little power and provide a dam bright "solar flare" in LED adjustable brightness. These should supplement the BMW OEM driving lights that come already installed on the F800ADV. I plan to take a few pics with the lights on sometime this weekend.
Here is a video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTv12axcBIk

I had to custom fit or notch the wire loom cover to make room for the right fork light running wire and keep the install clean.

Here are a few pics after install with high beam on-

Low beam-

Cheers!

Here is the price list for all the Clearwater lights, my dealer gave me a decent discount since I purchased my bike from him.

They are not cheap, then again you get what you pay for.

Question..

Nice, those look clean and great safety addition.

Did you also mount the dimmer switch? If so, can you post a photo?

I will post a pic of the mounted dimmer switch. I had to call Clearwater and request the dimmer switch mount for the 2014 F800 ADV.
The mount is different from the standard GS due to the mirror mounting base being of a different design. I called Clearwater
explained that I have the ADV model and they shipped me the correct switch mount. I will post pics when I receive and install the
new switch mount.

Cheers!

I have had mine for several years, and have been on a couple of grueling trips to Colorado.... and Arkansas and Utah and several other states.... with more water crossings then i can count.

another thing... i have crashed a lot.... i mean really a lot... i had even thought of removing the lights because i bought them for city driving, they don't give them away, but they have always survived unscathed. I think it has to do with them being in the right spot and a little bit tough.

... they are hard to get a hold of. Was looking to see if there were any ways to mount them any other place than the forks. Just can't get them to write me back.

Yes, you can use Velcro, the switch is light weight. Really once I adjust the brightness on the lights I set them and really don't touch it again. Or you can zip tie the switch on the handguard.

I installed the same lights just before my trip up north. One light sprung a leak (probably a o-ring problem) and their customer service was stellar. Pk
