Sad News at Adventure BMW

For those who haven't heard the news, Rick Moran, the Service Manager at Adventure BMW in Chesapeake, Va was killed yesterday afternoon. He was riding his BMW west on Rt 58 towards Emporia when he was struck by lightning. The news link is here.

I don't know what the local club is going to be doing, or when any service is planned. I will post that information as soon as I find out.

Rick had retired from the Navy and has been the Service Manager at Adventure BMW for the last couple years. He was only 43 and was married.

Godspeed Rick.

Jeff,
Souixanne Harris posted the news link on the Dead Horse list.
I didn't know Rich but had been to Adventure BMW last year.
Truly sad. At least he was doing what he loved when the call came.
