I can't be the first...
guy this happened to. And just when I thought that the adjustable 12GS seat was the best thing since sliced bread.
So I've searched and searched, and I haven't seen a single report of this. I'm guessing I must be the only id10t out there.
While on a trip this weekend, I noticed the inside of my left leg felt really hot through my riding britches, almost like a sportbike stuck in Miami traffic. It passed and I didn't think anything of it. At my next fuel stop, I went to hop back on the bike and noticed this on the seat.

Ok, it took me a minute to figure out that I had to click through a series of pics in that gallery to understand. Am I right in thinking the bar under the seat shorted out on the battery?
I have heard people caution about this, but these are the first pics of the result I've seen.
Could better routing of the positive lead have prevented it?
