Will probably go both days, I want to take the Husky up to the Five Points (Buckhorn) and explore a couple of trails. I have high hopes of doing a "shake down" ride with the KTM this weekend after I change the air filter and front tire today. I'm trying to get away next week to do the UPAT in Upper Michigan and need to get out on the bike after the maintenance work.

The Five Points trail system can be knarly to ride in with a big bike. Email me at jdharvey "at:" ontariobusiness "dot" net what works for you, if still interested.

Good ride today, no one hurt - we made our way up to the Fire Access Rd. off of 507 and then north on the Crystal Lake Rd. and a new way for me into the 5 Points Trail System. Here's a few images from today.

These fellows were having real bad luck today, they rolled an ATV and both an ATV & bike had to be towed out of the forest. Keener donated his tow rope to the cause to save them ferrying back and forth.

Poot got a late start and although we waited for him, we missed him at the meeting point. Maybe next time.

Nice pictures! Luckily I didn't venture out, had to take the tube out of my rear tire twice and finally gave up and put the old original tube in after figuring out A vicious cycle gave me a far too large rear tube that was getting pinched.

Paul - some of the trails would be fine for the average rider but, some of the stuff we were on was pretty wild! Talked to an ATV rider today who said he wouldn't go on the last trail we were on with his ATV, just to rocky. I was amazed at how Keener handled his KTM 950 up some of the rocky inclines, I certainly wouldn't have taken my GS through it. I guess it just comes down to rider ability.

Greg - I'm off to London on the long weekend to celebrate the September birthdays in the family so, I'm out. The following weekend I'm in Upper Michigan and then I'm open and plan to ride for the next three weeks as my wife heads to Everest Base Camp.
