speaking of the the bike, you might remember this feature.

i was riding at Michaux State Forest yesterday, just scouting the gravel since i hadn't been there before.

stopped for fuel on the way back, and a twenty something guy in a beat to crap Jeep Cherokee leaned out the window...

"does that bike really have 649 horsepower?"

"yeah son, it really does."

"oh, way cool."

so besides the color, i think i have the HP situation covered.
I just did an enduro race out at Michaux a few weeks back. Check your pms

Yes he is the Jim Jones from Suzuki. He showed be a non running DR on Craig's list I should have picked up for a summer project or put the DR fork tubes on the Wee. That would go well with the one inch lift I added to the rear. All I would need are a pair of TKCs and stuff in a Vee motor. Then I may be able to keep up with you.

the rat Versys with the wheels and big suspension does real well on those roads.

I'm hopeful that Bikerpedal will be on that fine machine by early spring!

Great write up jdrocks.

stay tuned, i'm about to depart for a meetup with a riding buddy, dljocky, in Paris, so the next report will start something like

Deux amis, les ames perdues...l'histoire de nos vies: La tournee d'automne magnifique. Octobre 2012

ok, my GPS has been a little erratic lately, and my buddy's GPS hardly works at all, so i figure we'll be lost within the first 20 miles after leaving Paris...no worries, i'll send y'all a postcard.

Did you add pontoons to the cop bike? I know DRs float. I have seen a white one float across every section of water in West Virginia and the mud road.

It does rain in Paris.

Scooters and no dirt.

Vous devez être emballer votre moto pour la grande aventure, ne cherche pas à ADV. Apportez les croissants pour le petit déjeuner, je vais apporter mon café Italien presse.
