Wixom Ranger
![]() This is my Wixom fairing, sorry I don't have any of it on the bike. I had it on last fall, but i didn't really like it. The air coming off of it moved my head around so much I would get a stiff neck. I think I may try cutting down the screen. And the chip was there when I got it.

I noticed this one on the Siebenrock shop site the other day. The matching seat is pretty nice too. |

I have no idea of the background of this fairing but I'd say it's design origins haven't strayed too far from the venerable R100RS fairing.

Another Daytona. I thought they were pretty light in weight and very effective.

Reminds me of my "Wixom Ranger MK III lower fairing" (as identified by http://www.boxercafe.com/WIXOMfairings.htm).
The same as this, but not my bike: ![]()

cool thread...
'dude, beat me to it. I've posted this one before, glad there is a dedicated funky fairing thread. This Wixom set up is on a '68 R50US, only 401 imported that year, I'm told.

Hannigan
No mention of the mighty Hannigan yet? This is the SS model, it's smaller than the other one(ST?). Check out the custom fabbed bracket a good buddy helped me with.

Someone with a Rapid Transit needs to see this thread.
And how about the Pacifico, Hamberman(?), Avon Lynx....oh so many cool vintage wind stoppers for Beemers.
