[QUOTE=Crisis management;20816122]Has anyone tried the CS replica fairing from Motorworks in the UK?

yea i have and itsnt bad at all. Had to drill the indicator stalk holes and put open grommets in to a tight fit but overall pleased.

Have now just put a avon av74 police fairing on instead.

Someone special may want your fairing but don't hold your breath. $50 - $200 range.... OBO and take what you can get.

78 R100S With Hannigan ST

Here is the ST with lowers and a small extension which is on and off based on the weather. Protection behind this is complete but no so overdone that I can lift my head or stick out my arms and legs and get plenty of air. Lots of storage as other have said. Well built.

Avon Lynx fairing on R75/5

Not a good photo of an Avon Lynx fairing; sort of like picture of black cat on black sofa. Nice fairing and I like the way the R75 and it look.

The fairing uses most of the frame mounting hardware as the "official" BMW Avonaire fairing so it's a pretty easy installation process. RS handlebars are necessary to clear upper wings of the fairing.

The fairing wind blast hits about mid chest with clear air around my helmet. Below ~35 mph there is a low of pressure on my hands and wrists but above that speed the wind pressure very nicely unweights my hands. Over 75, I hanging on ;-)

I've had the fairing on the bike for over 25 years but am considering removing because 1. I live in a dense urban area with heavy traffic and the bike as it now set up is a pain to ride around here, and 2. My hands and wrists aren't getting any younger.

Anyone knows what this fairing is? I picked up a few days ago in order to flip, but seeing that FlatRacer Mancha Branca bike.... Mine needs a bit of work though

Not in a good shape, ducttaped it to my /6 to check out the looks, the lowers would not fit the crashbars. I bought it as being for a R50, R60, R69, R69S but it looks like it would fit the /6 after some fiddeling.

Brance bike for reference and because it's great and fits this thread.
