This will give you an idea of what a day out with woopwoop is all about. Thanks for all your hard work Dave. By the way the camera survived but my highly specialized mini tripod which I had flown over from Asia is dead. Still, a quick click on ebay and another one is on its way for $1.39

Good one mate!

As embarrassing as the evidence is, I'm very glad it survived.

Might need to do a JSA before the next ride?

Are you at all familiar with the S.E. corner or totally new to the area?

As well as the weekday rides I'm thinking about a possible Sunday social ride through some of the country covered in this thread. For anyone from Brissy or the coast probably meet at Jimna or Manumbar, go as far north as Brooyar and wind up at Kenilworth.
Cheers

I'm totally new to this area, but liking what i see very much!

Today, did the Mt. Mee/Kilcoy/Mt. Glorious loop...friggin awesome!

Adventure before misadventure!!

Hey ya all ... I got one of those DL Strom thingies that needs to see some more dirt... I come from the Sunny Coast so keen to catch up with a group that enjoys some adventure without misadventure.
I notice those who are commenting on the thread are from the general area so if your looking for another mad keen thrill seeker count me in!

Laugh Count me in.

Somehow missed this thread. Probablly because the bike wasn't going and I was busy with work. Anyway as a shift worker I will follow this and see when the next ride is and if I'm off, I'm in. Plus just got a S10!!!!!! so I'd love to get a ride in before chrissy.

Good-oh gents. Just keep an eye on this thread. What are you up for....weekdays? ......weekends?

Incidentally feel free (anybody) to use this thread to post up ride proposals. It might not always get off the ground, but that doesn't matter.

Where's all the tracks!!

Sadly I'm a weekend warrior.... gotta earn some $$ through the week to pay for the habits...

Keen to do some camp out weekends..3 star style... maybe the odd rally...

Went to BMW Club 'back to bush' get together at Goondiwindi the other weekend..friendly mob.. good ride, went back roads but didn't find enough tracks though...

Be good if their was some sort of map or list of tracks through SEQ or all Qld and northern rivers.

Anybody know of such a thing?

Maybe post some of your fav routes, if others cant make the group ride they could enjoy it on another day!

Can anyone tell me what the road is like from Memerambi through Corndale to the Burnett H/way about halfway between Nanango and Goomeri near lake Baramba..is it sealed?

Can you still get from Glastonbury/Widgee to Kilkivan through the copper mine road.. Blacksnake ?... rode through there many times in the early 80's and it was a rough but fun track back then...on a DT360 .. memories...

Yes you can, the road leaves the end of upper thornside road, up over the top of a ridge, then onto blacksnake rd past the old mine, then comes out near Kilkivan. Couple of gates but is a open road. I was there 2weeks ago

That sounds great. No lingering wrist issues?

Going great, can ride fine, just being careful at the moment, not trying to do the really tough stuff yet. Been doing some around Wrattens forest and Sunday Creek Rd. Am back on the bike and comfortable though.
