Wow. That's some hardcore shit!

Makes me feel pretty inadequate, inferior.

What a place to live! You are a lucky man.

Your videos are breathtaking, and you are one hell of a good rider. Respect mate.

Thanks :)

I didn't see any bowhunters.. there was a big, although passable, tree across the trail that goes past Mad Lake. Otherwise clear. I don't carry sneakers, but sometimes I carry some Tevas.

Went local this weekend to shoot some video for Tubliss.

great stuff- those tubliss setups are impressive indeed. Ned to get up to Washington with the dirt bikes one of these days. Are most of these trails in the northern cascades or the southern part of the state?

Good damn stuff man!

Skills and huge fricken gibblies.

The rocky stuff reminds me a lot of what you can find in SW Colorado around Durango. A lot more loose rock but still Alpine and beat the crap out of you and the bike.

You want a work out? Take the big 950 to 9800ft on single track. If I was still living out there I would already have a 250, a 2 smoker, or something much-much lighter! Learned the hardway that picking up 460lbs of bike, gas, and gear is not something I wanted to do a whole lot........even though I had to several times.

Awesome locations and great riding!!!

I would love to go film there, but I think I may have to hike in to a few of those spots

Fall colors are here and the fires are out...

Thinned the pack out before we got to the good stuff. The others petered out or ran out of gas and headed for the truck early

The good stuff

You need your head checked... I like it.

I think we need to trade a guided North Gnarnia trip for a guided south Gnarnia trip next summer.

I have ridden F.D. and loved it, horsehead and deadmans rule.

The other stuff looks like a blast too, have chainsaw will travel. Some of those trails have way too many trees down for my liking.

If you are interested in seeing some of this stuff let me know.

Oh, yeah WR's rule!

Went for a spin up in the high country with my friend Dale

We followed deer and rabbit tracks on the otherwise desolate trail

One of the river crossings. Don't dump it, water is cold.

Crazy hunters had been camping out for a week, got snowed in last night. Said it took them all day to get here, luckily it was all downhill for them!

We started up toward the mountain by where they camped and Dale couldn't get enough traction to go, as it was too much hill. I have Tubliss so I was running 0psi in my tires which kept me going.

Some seriously hard core riders

We went up the main river trail further toward the lakes..

played with the birds for a while

Dale waited around here for a while and eat lunch while I kept going. The trail got steeper and his bike couldn't climb enough to keep going.

Up higher to the Little Lakes ~6000ft.
So peaceful and quiet.

The other, smaller lake

I really wanted to push on for Klone Peak but it was getting late and Dale was still waiting for me down lower on the trail. I headed back and we headed out.
