Vibrating mirrors
Hi,
The mirrors on my'12 F658GS Twim vibrate at highway speed so they blur out the view at the back, I can see cars and such but I can't see them clear enough. Is it a known problem with the F800/600GS? Anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for info. I did some some researches and believe that the high speed frequency vibration is inherited in the F650/800 twin engine, the high frequency vibration can also cause hands and fingers going numb after extended high speed riding.
Learn more about my bimmer everyday. |

Try heavier bar end weights.

I run 2 sets of bar end weights one inside the bark busters and the other on the outside with extra long bolts. I also use liquid bar snake ( but they do not make that product anymore ) in the bars to dampen the vibrations. My mirrors work great at any speed.
I do it to keep my nerves from tingling (carpel tunnel) or hands from getting numb.
