Oh, and he doesn't like full face helmets, jackets, or gloves.

Does anybody know what the visiting hours are at the hospital?
I had a RF900R, It was a very capable Sport Touring Motorcycle.

He was completely off the road, in the exact spot where most of the people who crash on that corner end up. Last I checked having two objects occupy the same space causes more problems than it solves.

Car driver was an idiot.... but. Did the rider even try to stop? He didn't seem to be going fast to start with. I never saw the nose of the bike compress, let along the rear wheel in the air. Hell, he barely even turned! More like, fixated on the front of the car, and hit it.

Also... Bike doesn't even look like it was damaged! Car is a fucking wreck.

Was the cute girl the driver?? I have NO DOUBT I could have worked things out with her. Yup.

Agree, driver is an idiot, although hot... and rider didn't appear to know how to brake.

Just my $.02 but shouldn't the rider have turned behind the car? If I came across that situation I will try to pass behind the vehicle. The car had forward momentum across your path so it will continue in that direction, the roadway behind the car was becoming clear( more space to ride)?

Yeah, but it's natural to try to 'outrun' the danger. He almost did too.

I don't see what ABS has to do with this at all.

It sounds like he had the rear locked and not overly using the front. ABS might have helped if was steering to avoid. It might have helped with knowing he could brake far harder. Once the rear was locked he did well to keep things in a straight line. As for the target fixation, that is a dragon that will bite even the seasoned rider who generally controls it. As me how I know lol.

Yikes! Throwing your g.f. over the DY as a sacrifice to the cage gods seems like a really rad move.

So...

You probably don't know what "cuttin' hookers" refers to either then.

Regional slang has always fascinated me.
