Plus 1

He gave it too much juice and instead of the bike standing up it got loose.
I did the exact thing many yrs ago when I was starting to ride. Did it on my first "real" bike a Ducati 900ss.

Or he was running too high of tire pressure. To be dragging knee on the street a little less psi will give a larger contact patch and build more heat.

Yes. You're welcome from sunny California, USA.

Like everything else. Some are fast and good, some are fast and crappy, some are slow and good, and some are slow and crappy.

????

seen the biker who parked his moto on the inside of the turn, about 1 inch on the inside while leaning over the line. i guess he thinks he is the only one around over there, not really aware that bikes will lean to the inside of the curve....

power full bikes with sporty cold tires and unexperienced rider, that should be a fault of the pavement there then, you could see it was of camber and real slippery.

Jebus I'm glad nobody was coming the other way in that incident. That sliding bike was in the oncoming lane for a long time, right on the exit of the bend.

Also, LOL at filming the hot chick in the dress at the beginning of the vid

Sure sounds like he's increasing lean and adding throttle at the same time to me. That far into Mulholland and his tires should've been fine. I think he just got on the gas while he was still banking over ... a perfect way to low side a bike, or so I was taught..

After watching it again I agree with you. Adding too many acceleration points and lean angle points simultaneously.

Wicked

I rode Mulholland yesterday on my new-to-me 950 supermoto, and was pretty underwhelmed, to be honest. I guess if you live in LA it might be ok, but certainly not worthy of a fraction of the hype, in my humble opinion.
But then again I live in a river canyon 20 minutes from Hwy49 between Mariposa and Sonora!
