Very nice start and I'm looking forward to the following along for the entire trip.
![]() Now about that statement you made just a couple days before you headed out on this ride.....you know the statement, the one about slowing down. ![]() Don't make me wait to long for the next installment.

We missed the first batch of these tunnels (ended up on the dirt road next to the river), but enjoyed the rest.
The morning we went through, the deer were hanging out in the tunnels - big surprise for everyone ![]() thanks again for highlighting our map, Sam. out of gas on Toboggan Ridge?

Day 2 Little Did I know... "the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray"
We woke early to a beautiful blue and cloudless sky, the water rolling by the Saint Joe lulled me to a great slumber the evening before., so I woke refreshed.
We had around 20 miles or so of very twisty pavement ambling along the river, and well........... if you got ride pavement it might as well be twisty Turned off on to a single lane tarmac that ambled along towards Red Ives Ranger Station some 10 miles in.Matt's River Vid This was the jumping off point back on to dirt ![]() ![]() ![]() You Know Bob is always smiling.... that's just totally... "Bitchin" More later

Where can I purchase a Idaho Sam poster?
The production values of your reports just keep getting better. Looks like a good mix of folks, and some tasty trails.
Big fan and looking for more.....

Srry about the interuption
Back to day 2...
As I was saying Red Ives is down a nifty little one lane road, seems everyone enjoyed it. As I had told the crew earlier this is a critical point insomuch as fuel conservation. We are going to travel through the Bitterroot range, a very rural area; beautiful yet devoid of populous. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All goes well as we ascend up the 320 to the intersection of 715. ![]() ![]() The dust trail was Curtis.. I am always missing him in the shots... He's a throttlemiester ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Me chewing on my Lunch at the intersection to 715 Steve is saying I have NO Idea where I am guys I'm sure having a good time....... Anybody hungry? The 915 is a great road of embedded granite full of twist and turns all the way down to Ceder Junction (well that's what I call it) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It was at this junction where I had a turn of events..... it's going to be Long day Hi AlThis song popped in my head while I was riding this area.
