I have the 4300k hid conversion in both the high and low headlights from 1off as well as the Clearwater Kristas.
I do not experience the delays from high beam to low but the flash function is definitely delayed. My dealer suggested this was from the high beam hid ballast not being charged. This (flash delay) was noted before I added the P3/Photon blaster from Skeene. |

The hid turn on delay is separate from the led turn off delay. Two different issues. Hid takes some time to fire up, once "warmed up" they take less time to come to full brightness. I still have this issue diode or not. What is fixed with the diode is the krista turn off delay. Mine stayed on for almost five seconds after switching off the high beams. Dangerous for oncoming traffic. I was actually looking at adding even more circuitry to my hid setup to keep the hid from flicking on during ignition turn on. This supposedly isn't good for bulb or ballast. Going to add a time delay using a relay probably. Have to see what flickers when during a startup.
