I am bringing a light pack that I can put a bladder in for water and to hold clothes if I take a layer off. At this point I don't know what to expect, so I would suggest having the ability to carry your own water to be safe.

Hard for me to sleep in with light gushing into my tent. I just saw someone else likes the Paris mt location. I keep trying to gently make people think like me and I'm not sure it is working ;)

I would like to ride less on thursday and have a leisurely ride into the performance center friday since I've been there and there isn't anything to do there. Not even a decent gift shop.

However, I'm game for Paris mt if no one wants the alternatives. Honestly... I'm not as high maintenance of a chic as I seem to be! Have bourbon and will travel.

There's a Paris Mtn Site that you can make reservations on. Haven't made mine yet....

Yeah - we'll get some beer, tell stories and "prepare" for competition!

Paris mt is huge. Shouldn't be a problem with reservations on Thursday nite.

Anyone else to weigh in?

That sounds like a good place. I'm leaving Maine tomorrow early AM and will plan on being there Thursday night. Looks like it's about 12 miles away from the BMW Performance Center.

Here's a map of the campground: http://www.reserveamerica.com/campin...ex=CampingSpot

Looks like it's set-up for RVs. If ya'll (practicing the local vernacular here) want to swarm together then are there any preferences to where on the map? Looks like lots of availability. Forecast is 61 degrees and partly cloudy at night.

I'm leaving from Indianapolis, IN tomorrow morning heading to Cincinnati then south. Looking forward to this event and can't wait to pick up skill sets from some of the more experienced off roaders than myself.

I am heading down on Thursday after work. HalfPlate and I are "Camping" at the Holiday Inn Express near the PC (performance center) so that I can get up early, take a relaxing HOT shower, get the yummy FREE breakfast and head over to the BMW museum to snap a few dozen pictures!

I removed the Aeroflow, dusted the cobwebs off my MX boots, spooned on a fresh set of TKC's last night and I am now ready to have some serious FUN and put those RawHyde and CornerSpin skills to good use!

Just found this thread myself...see ya'll there!
I'm coming up from Atlanta on Friday morning, but since I'm doing this event on a 20 year old bike I need to go over to Airheads in the "Old's Cool Forum"
