Trail in the Sonoran Desert National Monument that is now closed.

Just south of the Butterfield Trail.

I hit some soft sand and I wasn't going fast enough.

My XLH was built to be ridden, not preen in parking lots like some 2-wheeled steel peacock. And ride her I did. Her cases had gouges from contact with the ground and her tank had scratches from the tankbag. Scratches are like chrome, but with better stories.

Amen to that!! my bike gets ridden and ridden hard! I hate when a lot of my buddies with HD's are afraid to ride more then 150 km's because theyre afraid theyre gonna rack up too many clicks. I ride till i cant feel any parts of body!
