My DT400

I picked up a 1974 DT400 today,She's complete and was running until the previous owner let his hand off the clutch, while the bike was at idle.He gave it some throttle thinking it was in neutral.Now the kickstarter is stuck.I rolled her around a little and got the lever to move a little.I bought the bike regardless.I figure for $500 I can't lose. Hopefully the repair won't be too bad.I'll post some pictures soon.

I had a 1972 DT250 Orange when I was a kid.
Went pretty good with an aftermarket chamber.
Handled like shit on the trail compared to a real motocross...but I had lots of fun on it and it was decent on the road and not a scary death machine like my buddies Kwaker 500 triple

... lucky to be here after a near tank slapper at about a buck fifteen on that puppy

P.S. The 360 preceeded the 400 and it put out pretty good torque...have fun!

I bought a DT 400 in 1975 to commute to college . It was a great bike for me at that stage in my life .
