nada, it certainly bums me out to know someone passed away in one of my favorite happy places.

What I do know is hearsay but we were told he was in his 60's and he was riding sweep, coming down LB, the other guys waited for a while and then went back to find him and they did, just not how they wanted.

I think they told us that they didn't find him. The next day a search party was organized and his body was found. Very sad story. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

Very sorry to hear this. Good things take a long time, bad things happen fast.

Oh crap! I'm so sorry for his family. RIP

I really appreciate my advrider community. You guys are the best! I really mean that.

To celebrate life, I went out and bought a 520 yesterday (no worries Paul, I'll still hit that 950 plenty). I always struggled to get the traction to raise the front over the holes and rocks on the trail on the 950 (plenty of power, not enough traction); but now (after playing in the dirt today) I need to take a lesson on how to keep the front wheel down for a second. WTF? Loving it!
Single tracks, look out - Germany is on the rise!!!!!! Vee will conquer!

The old one is already messed up so as Fatchance would say"Whats the worst that could happen?"

I should have added a coin slot to the KTM I owned because it took my money just as easy as any slot machine I ever played!

Calf + Ankle = CANKLES

Great write up Uli. I'll see you this Fall. Maybe we should take another shot at the Stateline Singletrack.

Also where is your roll of mole skin?? That stuff is like JB weld, super tape, zip ties, a MUST have!! All my Canadian survival class knew one must have Mole skin!!! I will gladly give you some.

Sure glad all went well and you live to ride again.!! May I suggest you wear more orange, you are almost totally 'rhino bedliner black" also I can send you a pic of proper color combo for that 9fifffity.

Does those twin cans sound as nice as ED's???

keep smiling, gale

You won't regret it. Even heavily mod'd, the DRZ has some serious short comings in our terrain.
