I just needed a little more THUMP. I'm getting a Monkeybut approved XR650L.

Anyone want a mega-farkley and totally awesome WR 250?

There are a couple of B & Bs out here in Parkdale, Old Parkdale Inn, Mt. Hood B &B, to name a couple. Otherwise it's Hood River for a motel. There's the Hood River Inn on the river next to the bridge, Hood River Hotel right downtown, comfort Inn on the west end of town, Sunset Motel across the street, Vagabond Motel out on the far west next to I-84 close to the Columbia Gorge Hotel. There are a couple others but that should give you a good start. It takes between 20-25 minutes to get to our place from HR, depending on how fast you ride and how many farm tractors get in your way .

Got room for a couple more tents? My brother and I have decided to come on down. How do we find this place? An address or GPS location.

Hey, everyone. I have a GPS. Not such a ludite, anymore.

I put a fresh battery in the ol' TA and it fired right up. Weeds thru the dash neglected and three yr old gas. Just a touch of starting fluid (cause it was real dry) and it started like I turned it off yesterday. I am crossing my fingers that nothing worse crops up. I'll run a bit of seafoam thru it. Clean the chain and fresh tires, I'll be ready to go.

We will bring money for the hat pass (food) any thing else?

A truck with 16 foot trailer two adults thanks

Room for a trailer as well. Maps are easy to come by, but you may want to just follow AJ on his guided rides. He won't hurt anyone....I promise
Looks like I have a couple of ladies interested in riding with me on either Friday or Saturday, so any lady that's a bit intimidated by the thought of riding with a bunch of guys can ride with me one day. I plan on tagging along with the big boys one of the days, but would like to ride with the girls one day as well. Hotmama is more than welcome to join. I don't know my way around like Jeff does, so it will likely be a "wander around the 'Hood" kind of ride, as opposed to a "GPS tracks" kind of ride.

Is that what it'll take to get you to come back this year?

On the 2-day way home riding the WABDR from WetFest,...
I stress-cracked the middle luggage mounts on both sides,
so,... next to go was the bike's aluminum subframe that took the brunt of what was left over.
Rattled that fugger clean OFF !! Damn the rocky WABDR !!

Got the subframe TIG'd & Jesse brackets welded back together on Tuesday,
and off to Bend Wednesday morning for the KTM Rally,.... to break......more blinkers
.... (you aughta seen what me & Punkin did to that TREE )
