Unconventional bike pics? Road bike on dirt?

Lets see your unconventional bike uses. I see alot of adventure bikes in the dirt and KLR's, DR's, and other dirt oriented bikes but how about that street bike you took offroad. I know there are some people like me who have taken their sport bikes in the dirt so lets see them.

Here's my pics...

Hmm a little gravel, new bike with 300 miles on it, and a lot of tire.

Where are we and why isn't this road paved? The map from 1972 says it should be paved!

Well we're now 10 miles in and it's another 20 to the next highway, guess we'll head back.

I was breaking the bike in on this ride before I headed out to Maine a month later. I ended up riding about 70 miles of dirt and gravel in Maine because they were widening the highway to make a scenic byway. Turns out the 20miles of gravel was good training for handling a big wide tire in loose conditions.

First ride of the year in March on the old bike. It handled mud/snow pretty well for a street bike.

Or how about taking a RAT bike into a copper mine?

Video of it here at 1:44 in

and just for fun something totally out of the ordinary yet still normal in my book No it's not me or anybody I know but I would do it if I had the money and ice to ride it on.

Thanks! It was my first "New" bike purchase and I thought it fit my needs pretty well. It's defintely more comfortable on 600+ mile days than the Interceptor was and it gets good mileage, 52mpg best. It's also better on tires than the Interceptor was.

We chose wisely.

Eh? Why would you want to take a street bike in the dirt?
