Hey doug,
Thank you for the kind offer!
Unfortunately, we didn't get to the Denver area. We are currently in silverton.
Sorry we didn't get to meet up, but it would have been nice!

I'm using Matt's new iPhone to get online and I hate it
Can't figure out how to change the text to orange - gah!
No smilies

Anyway, thanks everyone for the enthusiasm,
I hope a ride report will work out, though I am hating the interwebs at the moment.

Teaser -
We did schofield pass from marble to crested butte, at the end of a 416 mile day, in the dark.
2 up, with camping gear. Typical. It was awesome!!!

The guys have been great, this is a amazing group.
Hopefully we will survive 7 more days and will all make it back home in one piece.

Again, thx for the support and hope I'll be able to muster up a CO ride report
Sorry for any typos or whatever

Take care everyone,
Kelly

Hi guys,
Did black bear pass today, it was gorgeous.
Took some nice flower pics for ladybug!

Heading to Moab tomorrow, then hitting the best of the TAT on the way home :)

The guys are taking some fantastic pics, prospect of a RR is looking good...

I must be getting old,,,,,Schofield pass after dark kind of scares old dickie.
Kelly you just have to do a ride report when you get home and get the chance.
Por favor.

Fingers are crossed for a ride report!!

MaverickChick and I meet Big and LittleWan in a gas station in Telluride, ride prime Colorado, and it's not surprising to run into other ADV'ers.

The Wan's just came off of BlackBear(2 UP!!), and were going to Ouray via Imogene, so we changed our plans and rode Imogene(most Excellent pass).

Their group of 990's, fast riders and make the big bikes look like KTM450's on the trail, we got a little Gopro footage I'll have to cut up.

Great meeting you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

We did a 9 day stay in Ouray, and introduced other family members to the Passes near Ouray, they loved riding ATVs there.

Hey LittleWan,

I got back from Westfest. My 1st rallye and have completed about 2500 miles of riding in my moto career so far.

Had a little incident in some deep sand and thought of you guys... "Make deep sand your favorite!"

Had my first crash in it unfortunately. I'm ok and the Dakar escaped with some minor damage, just some bent bits.

Looking forward to another one of your ride reports!

Hi Notar,

It was great meeting you and Mav!

What a nice surprise to run into you - we had fun riding with you guys
Haven't looked through the files yet, but we got some pics and video of you two, as well.

Prime riding season for sure
Later on in the ride, we met Dingweed in Montecello - it's a small ADV world!

Dickie, master marine, Joel, everyone - thanks for the RR encouragement, itS looking good!
We aren't quite home yet but the ride was awesome.
Got tons Of pics and video and had more than our share of adventure.
This report is going
To be the BEST one yet (from a riding standpoint), it's insane what these big bikes can do.

Joel-
Sorry we won't be at the ktm rally, we'll be working.
I think we got our fill of Colorado, but you will have some nice fall colors in sept.

Docwyte, glad you made deep sand your favorite!
We had some good sand days on this ride and some bad sand days...
Unfortunately, bent bits come with the territory!

OK, you guys - even after we get home, it will take me a while to get the photos sorted (over
4000)
And the video organized (hrs of footage from 2
Or 3 cameras)
But look for a Report starting sometime next week.
I can't wait to get off this stupid phone and back to a real computer!

Heading up to Highway Dirt Bikes tomorrow am to look into replacing my bent bits with their super trick stuff.

I've been eyeing their hand guards/mirrors for awhile, now I have the reason to get it...
