My Yamaha TRX850 runs DR650 forks, DR250 front wheel, 2010 Yamaha XJ6 tank and seat, KLR650 rear wheel, headlight and fairing. Suzuki XF650 Freelander front disc, ZZR250 rear brake caliper. I'm about to fit a CR125R rear shock which means all four Japanese manufacturers will be represented!

i think a drz would be a good one to convert. before i did mine i was thinking on getting a drz or another xrl to put the tw wheels on but figured i would try it on what i already had. im happy with it.

Glad I ran across this, my F650 Dakar is rotting in the shed since I got my 1200, Ive been thinking about doing the fork conversion and trying to make the thing at least pseudo off road capable. Kubiak, how is the weight of your f650 project? weight and the fork are the two weakest points on my Dakar...
