It's safe from me for a bit. BabyDonkeys is crimping my long distance tagging.

I would love to make a run for this tag, but my kids are out of school right now...so I'm on full time daddy duty this week! I used to drive all over that part of the state in a former job of mine. Washington, Williamston, Plymouth, Robersonville, and even Oriental were regular stops for me. I haven't been through that area in many years. Although I did ride down to Oriental a few years ago, and used it as a tag in the State game a couple years back!

I've been looking for a cooped up or through a barrel road.
smoke stacks are hard to find from above.
The stack is all that's left. No buildings standing.
gotta be some history in this one

Center in on Belhaven, it's about 100 yards west of Shoemaker Creek. Pretty easy to find.

Belhaven is quickly becoming a foodie paradise. We have 5 restraunts down town.

One is open for lunch and dinner Tues-Sat and lunch on Sun... thats Fishhooks. Not bad food can be pricey. They do have a buffet at lunch..

Another is Jacks Tavern....open evenings they have good pizza along with other stuff.

There is Gingerbread Bakery.... they are open for breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri they close at 2... Sat they close at 11. Good home cooking.

One is a fast food joint.... I refuse to name them because the service sucks and the owner is an A-hole.

Finally there is a hoity toity ace that is really only open for supper.

We also have Hardees, Andys, Panda Kitchen, and a Mexican/Italian place.

Going to be a pretty day for some tagging. There should be no excuses.... One of YFFers better get out and get this tag.....

Unfortunately the only thing I'll be riding today is the back of a 310 horsepower Deere....
