One on it's way to Ireland for my 950 Adv. Just think, one of these plus an Adv Aux Tank and you're almost up to the same range as a Safari setup. Things for and against I know, but just saying.

Ireland isn't exactly Australia. Can't you ride around the island about 3 times with that range?

Good observation there. Obviously didn't start on the sherry too early! I hate stopping for fuel. The bike will stay in Europe again this summer. The more fuel I have on board the less often I have to look for it. Simple Bobby!

My 05.5 stays near Derry at my brothers place. I'm sure we can arrange a viewing after it's fitted. I'll let you know when it's done.

mine lives near derry too with the adv tank fitted since nearly new '08. Recently changed to the roxx by remus 2 into 1, much smoother than the previous 2 into 1. No room on the 990 for the underseat tank or i'd have it.
Not a great man for stopping either.

Nice! Well have to meet up some time for a beer. I'm not back until May. Jeez that's nearly half a year away!

I'm sitting in Pichilemu tonight, taking my 950 Erzberg down the coast in Chile to Temuco. Adv tank/2 into 1 plus the Safari 30ltr tank fitted. Still trying to work out the range but it seems to be well over 600km touring!

Rades stuff is art!

Those tanks look great, sadly I'm pretty sure the way I run my 2008 S model off road would mean clearance issues? I run Michelin Deserts and on more than a few occasions I found the tyres would rub against the rear Subframe crossbar when hitting bumps at speed across Mongolia last year, For a moment I got mega , now I'm a little , looks like a top product otherwise

Fantastic Tank Rade! Just found this yesterday and I'm really impressed :-)
I'm wondering if you are making any progress with tank for the ABS version?
I'm not ready to get rid of it just yet...

Cheers,
Teemu

Hey guys, I am getting some questions so here are answers:

a/ now I brought from manufacturer dozen tanks - so ready to shipp

b/ some are asking to use it as watter storage - it has to be done from different material, but if there are 5+ people intersted in watter storage, I can let them produce - price will be roughly 200eur

c/ some are asking for tank for ABS version - I was looking for the solution and the only one is to "shorten" the existing one, but unfortunatelly it still means completelly new quite expencive form :-( To the shortened version would have capacity 5+ liters of gas... I will invest into the form in case 20 people are willing to put money on the table (my account) in advance so that I can cover at least some of investment into the form. I suggest to open new thread on this one.

I relocated the ABS unit to make room for Rades under seat tank.

More details here
