Back roads and Beyond

Eddywoodgo is going.

Sat 1st of June

Jobs quite, bike and luggage sorted. Plans are in place for a back road adventure of a life time.
Come and send Susie and I off as we head off on the Aussie leg.

We’ve lined some great bands, that include Owen Van Larkins guitarist extraordinaire.
http://www.vanlarkins.com/fr_home.cfm
The FAMOUS jimmies http://www.famousjimmies.com/
and the Gypsy Funk outfit No Strings Attached

Adv riders have plenty of great route options from the all directions.
Mt Mee, Woodford Peachester on to Bellthorpe, Sunday creek, or….to many choices!

Rooms, cold beer, country cooked tucker great hospitality from Terry and Justin Hodgens at the Kandanga Hotel. Ph 5484 3159 to book rooms.

Amamoor homestead ph 5484 3760 orhttp://www.amamoorhomestead.com.au/ has excellent B&B accommodation This would be the place if you wanted to introduce the girl in your life to attractions of heading up the country for a weekend getaway. Ken and Carol of Amamoor Homestead have donated a night on the house as a raffle prize.

Camping at the RV park a mere 50M stumble from the pub!

Not only will it be a chance to gloat about my trip, it is to raise funds for Mission Mexico , an orphanage for abandonned children. I plan to visit on my way through. The more you party the more the pub is going to donate to Mission Mexico.
If you cant make and wish to support Mission Mexico you can do so https://give.everydayhero.com/au/ed-...3358605006#_=_

I am also linning up some great bike orientated raffle prizes
Accomodation for two at the beautiful Amammoor Homestead
Motor bikin dvd’s
Cash to spend at the bar.
Every $450 we raise having fun puts a kid through school for a year. Every cent raised will go towards maku

Hope to see you there

WOW sounds like a real blast.....pity about the timing as I'm busy that weekend but say hello to Terry & Justine from the "yowie's" of Kilcoy :-)
Also Brett the drummer of All Stings is from Kilcoy ;-)

Have a great time and enjoy your adventure.

Cheers.

Anyone want to go for a ride and end up at this pub to give eddy and his lady friend a send off?

The pub does good grub and there's space not far away to camp if there's no rooms left.

Anyone interested in a loop through the bush for the smaller bikes leaving from kandanga late morning and returning late afternoon intime for a feed and a few beers at the pub.
Got a couple of locals willing to guide us through some great tracks up there.

Probably suited to an intermediate skill level but don't worry about it to much as there's no hurry so there will be plenty of time to overcome any obstacles and plenty of riders willing to help.

We're also trying to put a ride on leaving from peachester probably led by farmer Phil.

Plenty of room near the pub for camping and a place for camper vans within stumbling distance of the pub.

Who's interested then?

Andy Strapz has donated an 85lt dry bag for raffle,
Phil and Motorbikin are sending me some DVD's and tee's, also raffling accomoidation at up market B&B, vouchers for Bellbird cafe, there will be bar tabs up for grabs too.
Mix some great riding with a party after.
Muso are all donating their time and are quality acts.
cheers
