Enjoyed keeping tabs on Mawscode and Fatbloke49 today, looks like FB's got a bit of riding in the dark to do tonight

FB and Mawscode started from Marburg, looked like FB only had half hr or so of dark before Cordalba.

Mawscode must be keen, I noticed his pics on the QLD 4 day APC in March as well.

Cordalba pub night 1

40km out and headlights go out.... LEDs and halogen. Followed the boys into the pub.
Only ended up riding in the dark for 30min or so. Took to long having lunch at Imbil

Be patient young ones.

It's not a race and he's still moving. Looks like he has made good time so far today.

All ok fellas, had a bad day yesterday.
Lost the front wheel yesterday and dropped it at about 60km hr. put a hole in the front right rally tank inside where the top bolt goes through
Mines the front bike

Managed to patch it with epoxy and its holding so far.
Also lost Andrews tool tube with all his tools in it
Decided to let jeff and the other boys go as they were going a bit quicker than us. We though we might have a look around while we are riding so we slowed down and camped the night

Also busted a led spot light yesterday

Still works, but should have covered the like Andys but ran out of time.
Had a good run today 600km
Tomorrow we are heading to Grawin to meet up with a mate, so hope to get there about 2pm and stay the night

Figured something like that had happened when you pulled up early and let mawscode go. Could see u making good time today, I heard a out some weather ahead, will u miss it, and sounds like rather than a front wheel a front sled might be better down the bottom end hahah

Understeer with full tanks

Mate - the 690 tends to understeer a bit ive found when my front tanks are full, so adjust your tyre pressures a bit to help grip and weight up the front a bit in slippery stuff. Or just mono the whole way.....
If you get stuck let me know ive got spare right and left tanks and could get one too you ahead but I leave for Isle of Man on firday so need to post before then.
Cheers
Catman
