As the fever pitch mounts over this hoopty (remember that term?) I realize I have got to either change tires, chain, and sprockets on the F 650 or clean carbs, beancan, and replace the alternator brush holder plus change fluids on the ST very soon.

It doesn't help that we are out of the drought (finally) this year and every time I get ready to roll stuff out of the garage to get to what I want to work on, thunderstorms roll in with inches of rain.

Hey all,

Reading through the posts I noticed someone mentioned needing to change tires. We have a Camp Hill tire changer, bike lift and wheel balancer available for your use. It's a manual type, if your not familiar with it, but works real well. We had four ADV riders stay one night on their way across the TAT and three tires were changed in about an hour.

Thanks for the thought - that was probably me. Got the front changed yesterday and plan to do the rear in the next few days while we have some humidity less than 60% (Fall in Central FL).

I tried to find a pic I had of Mark lifting the rear of Lesa's (GSAChic) bike with the "Ducati" Kubota tractor while Don & Boojum R&R'd the rear tube.

Looks like I will be riding the GS (with the battery securely connected this time). My front tire on the airhead is having problems holding air and, dammit, I'm just too lazy to do anything about it this time of year.
