This is the oldest version of the prototype I'm aware of, and it had a 4-1 pipe.

I appreciate you posting the prototype photos. The prototype has something that the production model doesn't. Not that you couldn't alter the production model - you could. But out of the box there is a clear difference.

No, twin chrome exhausts and dual seat. It was at a concept show, with the usual group of young ladies draped over it. The pipes were longer and not as bulky at the rear - very similar to the pic of the aftermarket 4-2.

If the bike sells well, I wonder if we will see more color choices... Don't get me wrong: I still love the red one but it's always nice to have choices.

There is a white one available on honda.ca - as usual honda usa arbitrarily limits choice. I would go for a cb1000r abs if they offered it south of the border - honda's lost sale

years ago when this thing was first talked about online, I was still a regular over at CB100F.net and I still owned the nicest CB1100F I have ever seen to this day. Those guys are HUGE purists so I mocked up what a new 11F would look like with the old school bodywork.....might be a cool custom.

I like the dark colored engine better than the chrome - any chance honda will bring them over with a blacked out engine?

The model to be sold does have a black engine (with polished sidecovers).
