What should I bring for trout bait?

I got some of this:

My neighbor gave me a two peice rod that will work perfectly on the bike.

Haven't fished since I was a kid, looking forward to it. And food and beer. Oh, and riding my motorcycle.

Set your GPS for 205 Dennis Cove Rd Hampton, Tn. That will take you into town and to the blacktop. Follow the road until you get to the resort. You can't miss it. Guitarhack and I had the actual address in out GPS and had a major fail.

no, not really, but if you pitch your tent between the cabins, you can get power there, or if you are next to the rv spots.

And we do have a charging station for electronics at the Black Bear Hall.

Just remember that Bears won't attack while you're up on 2 wheels rolling along. They like to jump on the guy who's fallen and a little bloody. It's the Mountain Lions who like to attack the fast moving prey, usually as you are rounding an up hill curve, and especially near water...sometimes cliffs, but usually near water. There aren't really many Mountain Lions and they don't hang out in the lower elevations where the 500 lb bikes ride... They usually hunt the smaller bikes that they find higher up on the ridges and deep dark hollars, they especially like the little orange bikes. My sweeper will be carrying a rifle, just in case somebody gets in a tangle with a big cat. A shot or two usually will get them to leave the carcass behind. Wives appreciate that, helps the insurance claim get paid a lot quicker. We'll drag him back across the state line too, for the same reason....you know how things are in TN.

Seriously, you shouldn't worry about your bike weighing 500 lbs. We'll be in the mountains and have the advantage of gravity. I'm pretty sure Kyle's route is mostly downhill, you just need good brakes. Besides, I think everybody that crashes on their ride gets to be first in the beer line.....so, you really have nothing to lose. (it's somewhere in the fine print )
That was funny Glenn.............damn, I thought you were serious for a second there...........or were you? Ha.

Of course I was serious......,but you've got to remember that I'm crazy.

I just got back from riding across the mountain from Heaton Branch Rd and exited on Little Stoney Creek Rd. The roads up there were fine, no mud, landslides, or trees down. Seems that the NC side of the line took the brunt of the rains, some flooded roads & bridges, and a couple small landslides on 321. The Watauga River was raging at Guy Ford Rd where the kayakers usually put in, but strangely there were no boaters. The Watauga county schools were closed today.

Hopefully we'll have a dry weekend for the rally.
