Regarding the rides: there are no official rides at the RDV, however there are a bunch of locals that will let you tag along if you like - see page 1. I am quiet sure there will be a two-up ride going on as well (as soon as somebody steps up and wants to lead a group).

Yes they are - I assigned the spaces in the order I got the bookings (with a few expectations). Thought this way you can "sniff" out (online) your roomies before hand.

OK, gotta ask: a couple of us are riding down from Ye Olde Yankeeland (that's New England to the rest of you) starting Wednesday morning and planning on arriving Thursday afternoon in the depths of hell, uh, I mean in eastern Tenn. Anyone else planning on arriving around the same time and coming from the north? We could be really scary with four or five bikes arriving all at once.

Of course, last time I did this I got tailgated by a county cop in Tenn from time I got off 81 nearly to Hot Springs. Prolly the Masshole plate on the bike that did it.
