BST 40 Idle Screw
ladies and gentlemen. they are here. the bst idle screw with hand wheel knobbie dooey is available immediately!.
here's the deal... the screws cost you $30usd plus $6usd for shipping (regular mail). if you have any questions regarding the screw itself please pop me a pm. if you would like one... this is what i am going to need:
send me this information in a pm, and i will email you a confirmation and invoice. on the invoice is all the info you are going to need... if you need more, just ask. at this point this is a money order only kinda thing. no paypal, no credit cards, etc... when you mail me your money order please enclose a copy of the invoice, or a piece of paper with the invoice number. that's how i know where to send your stuff so it is important! there are plenty to go around so no need to panic. if you miss the first batch the next one is only a few days away. please excuse the delay. i do/did not want to ship something that did not meet my expectations of quality. these do. there are slight blemishes in the anodizing on the threads, but that is unavoidable because i needed to hold them somewhere... besides that... they're great!

truth be told. orange is a pain to do with anodising. it isn't really a colour. it is essentially a gold colour that has been cooked too long. i could not get it to take. i got shit brown... or gold... so gold it is

Can't expect much more from a guy in a skirt
Excellent job. Even though I haven't had to adjust my idle mixture screw for over a year, I think I'll pick one of these handy dandy doodads. If I don't, you know what'll happen. Sometime in the immediate future, the idle mixture will need to be adjusted and I'll be cussin' and bitchin' the entire time as I keep asking "why didn't I get one of Loaded screws?"

Loadedagain BST 40 Mixture Screw
Quote:
I tilted the carby to make access and correct threading easy, and it was all over, easy as pie......(mmmm..pie)...... Anyway 2.5ish turns out, start the 04, it idles easy after a small amount of choke. By this time my 10yo sun is in the garage "what's goin on dad?" I give him the 50cent tour, he is pretty impressed by the new golden knob protruding of what he has just discovered is a BST 40 (Note: he says he prefers the FCR pumper on my EXC as it has a Star Wars Lego thing going on) ....but he points out that there is a certain Bling factor to that new Knob I have the choke off now and the idle is smooth , then off down the drive on my way. I warmed it up for about 10 mins at the secret testing facility down the end of my street (read pine forest). I did have the same slight popping on throttle shut down that I had with the OEM screw, this means that Loaded attention to detail is spot on. Next I easily open it up 0.25ish of a turn, blast down the track, off the gas, and........my Staintune goes bbbbbbbbererererererrrrrrrreeeerrrrrrr down through 2 gears on deceleration, smooth as Flugs head ![]() I have done the mandatory cult (Mafia) LC4 BST Mods: Snorkle off (while I wait for the Sommer side plate to arrive) Pipe: Staintune Jetting Drilling slide vent holes to 3mm Spring: Cut 2 winds off (I did have a spare standing by) no problems so far. I have geared the bike 15 / 44 This bike is well and truly awake, my riding buddy has a 05 625sxc, we swapped for a few hours last Sunday. His comment “how come your bike is heavier but goes so much harder??” I am Happy…I will probably now become one of those annoying guys who are always tinkering…… BTW "Very Nice" Job Loaded..... Greg
