Riders Nate and Mr. Dabolina

Nate Sweazy is a dedicated street bike rider and before this weekend didn't get the whole dual sport riding thing. I think he's starting to get it. I appreciate you keeping my WR250R company and keeping her upright all weekend.

Mr. Dabolina is a fairly new rider too. These guys picked it up quick and kept a pretty good pace on all kinds of terrain. Great riding with you.

This new bike owner and new father had to step out early but it was fun riding with Cory as well. See you around. Nice new Honda 700 bike.

How do you know the tracks were coming OUT of the water? Maybe someone should have done a headcount to make sure we didn't lose somebody!

Rare Sights

I'll bet many of you didn't catch these two views. The first one is at the center of the laborynth at New Harmony. I was tired by the time I got to the center, and found the walk to be as tough as the spiritual journey it represents.

The second view has a less spiritual story behind it. This is a live tree that has had the center of it burned out. We met 2 locals under the blue bridge North of Owensboro. Judging from their eyes and actions, it seems they were enjoying life in a different universe than we were in at that moment. They were burning up tires and transmission in their 2 wheel drive Chevy truck in the mud holes under the bridge. They came over to talk a bit and told us of tree with a hole that 4 growed up people can fit in. Nate found it and grabbed a picture of me showing they were probably right about at least 4 growed ups fitting comfortably. I wonder how they calibrated their story? I think you could fit more in there, but they probably should be real comfortable with each other!

Some people try to turn back their odometers.
Not me! I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

If your bike weighs more than 400lbs. You might not make it.

I'm having computer problems at the moment so the videos will take a minute to edit/post. Tons of great footage of pretty much the entire ride though. I had a freakin' blast on this ride. Way better than I anticipated for sure. Great group of riders and awesome riding. Cheers.
