All I"m saying is, in my experience if you promise a Donut at the start, a cold beer at the end with a icecream stop after lunch, these guys will follow you anywhere!

This is my beautiful ride with the sticker on the cowling.

So if you're looking for one of the instigators of this ride, look for this bike. I will try to help if I can. No promises

LOL! I washed it to take a picture of it. Knew that would flabergast all you smart alecks. It's gotten dirty since then (just so you can get rid of that dizzy feeling)

just a note- when you get to New Harmony, disregard this sign.

it refers to the old- just recently closed - toll bridge over the Wabash River at the State Line. Just wander a few blocks west of downtown New Harmony and you cant miss it

i also stopped by the Old Dam to check out the water level.........it sure was pretty in the afternoon sun

I sure am looking forward to this one...I've kinda become a recluse with my riding this season. It'll be great to get out and romp with some fellow loonies for a change.

Donuts, ice cream, and beer...what about the dancing girls...?

+1 on what Backmarker said. I can do donuts, but prefer a pancake or two for breakfast.....

You should've been there for the Moonshine Run...holy cow was that some crazy riding man. Running 50+ down gravel with horizontal rain and barely able to make out the tail light 15 feet ahead of you. :screwy:

I haven't made it to the Dual Sport ride at Moonshine yet.........but on our way up there this year, I did get the vstrom to lay down on me on one of the their local dirt / sticky clay / mud / stop dig out the forks/fender my front wheel isn't turning anymore farm roads. Tried to stop a couple of times to dig the mud out of the front wheel and fender - finally decided I was just a wimp and just needed to stand on the pegs and ride it - Well, I did and rode it right INTO the ground when the front tire locked up ........by the time we got to Moonshine the down pour had washed enough mud off of me and the bike you could hardly tell and since no one got a picture..........
