Tiger 800XC - Installing accessories

Hello inmates,

Can someone tell me how hard it is to install the accessory bundle, that Triumph had a deal on, in March? What tools might be needed? I have an 800XC and purchased the following accessories:
Top box kit
Sliding carriage kit
Heated grip kit
Adjustable high screen kit
Top backrest kit
Engine Crash guard (I bought this separately)

I am located in Georgia,US and curious how much it might cost to get the dealer install these versus doing it myself. I prefer doing it myself as it will help me know my bike better.

Another question I had was if I really need a center stand to change tires? I remember reading somewhere, about an alternate option. Appreciate your help!

Also, any recommendations on a toolkit? Ideally something which I can carry some essential tools on a daytrip to handle emergencies (does something like that exist?)

I tried posting this also in triumphrat but the site is almost unusably slow

they go to bmw dealers and ask for the used GS oil to get a bit of that essence they didn't manage to copy at the factory.

I don't know about the top box kit, that's a tough one, but the crash guard is easy:

Prepare the Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And you're gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

nay nay nay, you are too hasty my dear friend. Then it goes into the final drive of the S10 to make sure it won't fail, then the oil is reused in your local tapas store to get you that "extra spicy mexican taste" and only then, after one month of use it goes into the luckiest of all KLR's.

You have an STD?

You'll have to direct your medical questions to a different forum altogether.
